At the end of March, we received a report that a fencepost had come down surrounding Rumbling Hole, leaving the hole open to sheep. It was actually back in 1995 that CNCC arranged the fencing of all of the major open pots on Leck Fell, and since then it has been a matter of ongoing maintenance. On this occasion, one of our volunteers, Andrew Hinde, was quick to respond to replace the post. Only a small job, but a proactive response. Thanks Andrew!
