As of 1st April 2022 the CNCC has withdrawn from the historic permit system at Birks Fell Cave. We encourage cavers to park responsibly in Buckden (National Trust car park recommended), change with appropriate discretion and be courteous to others including the tenants of Redmire Farm if you meet them.
