(Ease Gill)
Hazards and Warnings
We have received notice that there may have been some movement (around September/October 2025) which has blocked, or at least made the route through the boulders between Eureka Junction and Stop Pot more challenging. The traditional route along the wall in/above the water in our descriptions may no longer be navigable, meaning the alternative crawl route may need to be taken. We would welcome a thorough inspection of the area and some suggested wording amendments for our descriptions.
Reported 28th April 2025 - Some large rocks along the right side near the end of Nagasaki (just after the upper/lower routes mentioned in our description unite) have come loose and fallen. This could lead to further instability of some larger boulders above them. We advise cavers to bear this in mind, take additional care and please report any changes.
