Access

Unusual access situation, the entrance being directly next to the wall of the barn of Bruntscar Hall. Warning received in 2022 that the barn wall by the entrance of the cave is in a dangerous condition and liable to collapse. This presents a severe hazard to visiting cavers. The landowner has closed access, but hopes to restore this as quickly as possible. However, as the barn is a listed building, undertaking the work may take some time. Check back for more details.
