Access

Please make a courtesy call to the tenants of Darnbrook Farm (about three miles south west out of Arncliffe, at the bottom of the steep hill), particularly if crossing the non-access land on your approach. They have always been very friendly. Parking is usually allowed a few hundred metres west of here on the roadside verge for a walk up via Darnbrook Pot. An approach via the Pennine Way and Tennant Gill Farm is also possible, however, we have recently (April 2025) received news that the owners of Tennant Gill Farm are not very happy about cars parking on roadside verges flanking their land, and so it may be necessary to park south of the cattle grid (their land boundary), a few hundred metres south of the track to Tennant Gill Farm, if wishing to approach from that direction.

This cave is on access land. Click here for more information.
