Access

Access to this site was restored in 2020 following the 2019 collapse of the original entrance. Located on and approached via access land from the road south of Grinton across Cogden Moor.

Pearson's Sump is fitted with non-CNCC stainless steel (Raumer) resin bonded anchors of good visual standard. This pitch requires 30m rope, 6x krabs and a 120m sling or equivalent for a deviation. The Cranehow Bottom Level sump pitches do not have usable anchors.
