Access
No restrictions
No permission is required. Please be courtous to land owners and follow an reasonable requests they make. Park with respect and don't block gateways etc.
Landowner is Rainscar House. Permission is freely and kindly granted for cavers to take the track from the parking area at Dale Head, going south-west, away from Penyghent, through Rainscar Pasture to reach the Access Land boundary. There is no need to call at Rainscar House to ask permission if approaching from Dale Head.

Hammer Pot (except for the Water Butt) is currently anchored with (non-CNCC) Petzl longlife anchors (requiring only krabs for use) which on last report were servicable with appropriate inspection, backup and care.
