Access
Call at house
A courtesy call at the farm / house of the land owner is required.
Call at High Gill Farm, Gawthrop, to request access. NOTE: Entrance to High Gill Upper Cave is currently believed to be blocked by the collapse of a shale bank above the entrance, leaving only a too-narrow fissure entrance able to be identified. High Gill Middle Cave entrance is currently suspected to be blocked by farm waste. High Gill Lower Cave is currently open and able to be accessed (information correct as of May 2024).
