Access

Landowner is believed to be Bolton Estate (01969622303) however after following up on a report in June 2024, the Estate were not able to confirm their ownership and were confused why access permission was being sought. Given the close proximity of the entrance to the road, we advise that cavers do not ask permission to visit, unless any landowners are met on the day. Bear in mind that this is not access land, so please respect any requests made by any landowners you meet and be courteous. Do not block gates or the road when parking, bearing in mind large agricultural vehicles will need to pass, and potentially turn into fields and gates. It is suggested to park on a large verge a short distance further up the hill and walk back down the road.

This cave is NOT on access land. Click here for more information.
