Access
Contact landowner
Contact should be made in advance directly with the landowner.
Strans Gill is not on access land, so permission is required for access. Langstrothdale is now owned by the National Trust, the warden for the area is; Pete Katic, Yockenthwaite Cottage, Hubberholme, BD23 5JH. It may be possible to call on the day to request permission, however, it is preferable wherever possible to obtain permission in writing (including required dates and a SAE) prior to visiting.
