Access
No restrictions
No permission is required. Please be courtous to land owners and follow an reasonable requests they make. Park with respect and don't block gateways etc.
Land owned by Green Farm, Arncliffe, BD23 5QD.
This cave is located on access land covered by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, which at the very least enables access to the cave entrance on foot.
The CNCC has not been made aware of any need for specific permission to enter the cave.
Groups are advised to use public footpaths to reach access land, observe the Countryside Code, be courteous to any farmers or gamekeepers you may meet, and to report to the CNCC if you encounter any access or conservation issues during your visit.
NOTE:
The area immediately around Darnbrook Farm is not access land, but cavers have always enjoyed good relations with the tenants of the farm. Therefore if parking or approaching from the immediate vicinity of the farm, it is recommended to make a courtesy call on the tenant if they are available so they are aware of your presence and intentions.
