Jingling Pot treefall
9 December 2021
We have received a report that the tree in the entrance of Jingling Pot may have suffered the consequences of Storm Arwen.
Although this tree has been in a declining state for some time (and many groups now rig to avoid it), it seems to have finally fallen across the top of the shaft and poses a significant risk.
See the photo above.
We urge extreme caution if visiting Jingling Pot. For now it may be sensible to avoid descending until the matter has been addressed.
