This one day indoor workshop is aimed at cavers who are SRT competent, already have some SRT rescue experience ( see CNCC foundation and intermediate rescue /workshop notes ) and want to refresh and expand their skill set

• Refresher on snatch rescues
• Passing Y hang with un-responsive casualty
• Non spare rope and mid rope rescue
• Dealing with multi pitch cave secnarios  

Format: A one day workshop, based indoors

Equipment :

Full SRT kit ( please ensure its clean ) If you can borrow one or bring a comfortable padded SRT harness that would assist you whilst hanging.

If you have them or can borrow - 1 micro traxion, 2 pulleys, small knife and 4 metres of 6mm or 7mm or 8mm cord.

Candidate pre requisite ideally: 

• Have attended  previous CNCC previous rescue workshops 
• OR you have a reasonable SRT rescue knowledge and practice (see content of other CNCC rescue workshops )
