This one day workshop is aimed at cavers who have some SRT experience and want a trip underground in a slightly more challenging cave to polish up their skills with a patient friendly trainer on hand to provide guidance and encouragement.

Suitable for: Cavers with some SRT experience who want to refresh and consolidate their skills In a slightly more challenging cave.      

Format: A one day workshop. We will run through equipment set up and have a quick refresh of skills before setting off to a local cave . Here we will descend focusing on fine tuning SRT skills. 

Trainer: Helen Hooper

Candidate pre requisite:  Previous SRT experience required and already be comfortable in somewhere like Sell Gill

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or transfer of workshops. However if you are unable to attend you are welcome to pass your place onto someone else.

Joining instructions:  Meet 9.30am at the Craven Pothole Club hut, Horton In Ribblesdale. Bring full caving kit, food and drink.

I will be in touch nearer the day to ascertain the skills you would ideally like to practice. Usually we agree a cave and will meet at the parking for this venue (unless weather forecasts require a late decision).
