This one day advanced indoor workshop is aimed at cavers who are SRT competent, already have some basic / intermidiate SRT rescue experience and wish to refresh and expand their skill set to understand more complex rescues. 

In order to attend 

  1. Ideally have attended either a CNCC foundation or intermediate rescue workshop in the past 
  2. OR have experience of rescues  such as hoist, cut and lower and some mid rope rescues.

Please do not book onto this workshop as a way of fast tracking your SRT rescue skills if you have not undertaken any/little practice prior. If this is the case then book on Foundation or Intermediate rescue course/s

Format: 

A one day workshop, based indoors

Equipment :

Full SRT kit ( please ensure its clean ) If you can borrow one or bring a comfortable padded SRT harness that would assist you whilst hanging. You will benefit from this. 

If you have them or can borrow - 1 micro traxion, 2 pulleys, small knife and 4 metres of 6mm or 7mm or 8mm cord.
