Caving through one of our classic “Pull through” caves we will be looking at all aspects of what is involved in  these kind of rewarding trips.

We will look at all aspects from pre trip preparations, safe approach to pitch heads, rigging for pull throughs, problem solving etc..

Suitable for: SRT competent cavers who want to learn skills for pull through trips

Format: A one day workshop journeying through Swinsto (SUBJECT TO WEATHER - SEE NOTE BELOW)

Candidate pre requisite: SRT competent and who CAN manage themselves at pitch heads with NO supervision. This is a physically demanding trip so good cave fitness is required. Whilst nothing is really tight, there is one bit that is a bit “snug” for anyone significantly above “average size”.

****** IMPORTANT******* If water levels are not suitable, we will head over to Jingling Pot and use that as a venue to look at as many relevant skills as possible.

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or transfer of workshops. However if you are unable to attend you are welcome to pass your place onto someone else.
