We're pleased to launch our program of training workshops for October to December 2026.

- 10 Oct: SRT rigging (underground) 2:1 intensive
- 10 Oct: SRT rescue foundations (indoors)
- 11 Oct: New to SRT (indoors)
- 18 Oct: SRT rescue (underground) 2:1 intensive
- 24 Oct: Problem solving / SRT assistance
- 7 Nov: SRT rescue (underground) 2:1 intensive
- 8 Nov: SRT refresher (underground) - beginners
- 14-15 Nov: New to SRT (1 day indoors, 1 day underground)
- 14 Nov: SRT rigging (underground) 2:1 intensive
- 15 Nov: SRT refresher (underground) – intermediate
- 28-29 Nov: New to SRT (1 day indoors, 1 day underground)
- 5 Dec: New to SRT rigging / refresher (indoors)
- 6 Dec: SRT rescue intermediate / refresher (indoors)
- 12-13 Dec: SRT refresher (1 day indoors, 1 day underground)
- 19 Dec: Xmas SRT refresher / self-practice (indoors)

New to caving - 17th October
We'll also be running a new-to-caving event on 17th October, a chance for anyone interested in caving as a hobby, to try it out as part of an enjoyable and educational day.
The future of CNCC training
There is some uncertainty about the future direction for our training workshops. The BCA are discontinuing support for our current subsidised training model in 2027, so costs next year, if unsubsidised, are likely to be much higher. We are applying for subsidy via an alternative model, but there is no guarantee. All we can suggest is that cavers take advantage of the subsidised workshops above while you can.
